Astana Motors was the first company in the country to operate in the fields of sales, after-sales service, and car assembly. The company was founded in 1992.
Currently, Astana Motors represents eleven car brands in the automobile market of Kazakhstan: Hyundai (as official distributor of passenger and commercial vehicles with its own dealership network), Subaru (as official distributor with its own dealership network), BMW and MINI (as official importer with its own dealership network), Rolls-Royce (as authorized dealer), Toyota (as official dealer in Almaty and Astana), Lexus (as official dealer in Astana), Jaguar and Land Rover (as official dealer in Almaty). Astana Motors offers not only the best cars, but also renders the best service to its customers. The company aims at high-quality business expansion by actively improving its dealership network and building modern and convenient auto centers. In 2011, Astana Motors launched the Hyundai Trans Auto assembly plant in Almaty to manufacture Hyundai and MAZ trucks, buses, and special equipment.
Astana Motors also operates a subsidiary company, Astana Motors Finance, which has been operating in Kazakhstan since 2004. It provides a wide range of passenger cars and commercial vehicles from worldwide manufacturers for financial and operational leasing.

MEGA is Kazakhstan’s largest shopping center chain, with something for the whole family. It has everything for shopping, leisure, and entertainment. Within 12 years, MEGA has established itself as a strong brand and one of the key players in the development business in Kazakhstan. The first mall of the MEGA chain was opened in Almaty in 2006; the second section of MEGA Alma-Ata was put into operation in 2013. A year later, MEGA Park opened its doors. In 2014, Astana Group diversified into a new business sector of food and beverage and signed a contract with South Korea’s Lotteria Corporation to open branches of the internationally franchised Angel-in-us Coffee shop chain. Angel-in-us Coffee has become a favorite place for visitors of the MEGA Alma-Ata and MEGA Park Shopping Malls.
The Almaty Hotel
As a monument of modern architecture, the Almaty Hotel has a particular historical value for the city. Today, the legendary hotel, which was built in 1967, is experiencing its rebirth. The Almaty Hotel welcomes its guests with the renewed design, and the friendly staff follows the traditions of hospitality as before. The hotel offers 207 comfortable rooms with views of the city panorama and the Abay Opera and Ballet Theater.
There are two conference halls with modern equipment for 120 people. They are used for business meetings and negotiations.
Delicious breakfast and fresh pastries are served daily in the Eastern hall of the famous Issyk restaurant.
